At Consider Coaching, values aren’t just phrases we recite—they’re positions of the heart. These convictions shape how we lead, how we serve, and how we walk with others. When we’re coaching, building, or simply coming alongside people, we aim to rely on the Spirit as we reflect Jesus with humility, consistency, and remain full of wonder.
This is some of what we hold fast to as we aim to cultivate Jesus-focused, Spirit-led, Scripture-centered worship.
Considering Him
Jesus is our example and our true Reward. We choose humility time and time again — asking before assuming, praying before planning, and keeping Him at the center of every relationship, strategy, and step of obedience.
Hebrews 12:1-3; Philippians 2:5–8, Matthew 6:33, Colossians 1:18
Thanking Him
God has given us the way to enter His presence: thanksgiving. It is the posture of a grateful heart, not just a phrase to be said. True thanksgiving goes far beyond simply saying “thank You.”
Psalm 100:4, Psalm 50:23, 1 Chronicles 16:4, 8; Romans 1:21, 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Praising Him
God’s people are invited—and commanded—to sing praises to Him, about Him, and for Him. The right response to being in His presence is song and celebration.
1 Chronicles 16:8, Psalm 95:1-2, Psalm 100:2, Psalm 150
Beholding Him
Fixing our eyes on His beauty brings about true transformation. We behold what we find beautiful, and Jesus is the most beautiful. As we gaze at Him, we reflect Him more and more, making Him the One we put on display for all to see.
Psalm 27:4; John 1:29, 36, 2 Corinthians 3:18
Following Him
We trust the leadership of the Spirit in us. Without Holy Spirit’s guidance, we’re prone to emotionalism or making decisions according to our flesh. We rely on Him as our Guide into all truth as we serve Him and others.
Proverbs 3:5–6, John 16:13, Galatians 5:25, Romans 8:14, 1 Corinthians 3:16
Singing Hymns
Worship includes psalms (the singing of Scripture), hymns (written songs), and spiritual songs (spontaneous, heart songs—cf. the Hebrew word "tehillah"). Our response to who God is must be in Spirit and in truth—grounded in the Word and then flowing from the heart.
Psalm 22:3, Psalm 33:1, Isaiah 61:3, John 4:23-24, Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16
Honoring Him in You
Mutual submission is the model for all believers. We must recognize how God has crafted each of us as part of His body—we are vital to one another.
Ephesians 5:21; 1 Corinthians 14:26
Growing in Him Together
God’s Word equips us for every good work. We grow by speaking the truth in love and encouraging each other toward maturity in Christ.
2 Timothy 3:16, Ephesians 4:11-16, Hebrews 10:24, 2 Peter 1:3
Bringing Them Along
We lead in unity and with clarity. Worship is an invitation to go together—not a performance to be spectated, but a movement as one Body into His presence.
Psalm 34:3, John 17:21, Acts 1:14, Acts 2:1; Philippians 2:2
Excellence Is Accessible
We define excellence simply as “doing the best you can with what you have.” This kind of excellence is accessible to any leader, any team, and any community—it just looks different in every context. At its core, excellence is about stewardship: honoring God by being faithful with what’s in your hands.
Colossians 3:23–24, Proverbs 22:29, Daniel 6:3
Presence Over Production
Our primary ministry is first to the Lord, because Jesus is worthy. We prioritize making space for His Spirit and His presence to encounter us and interrupt our plans—not putting on a show or executing our agenda. It's not about hype, it's about Him.
Exodus 33:15, 1 Chronicles 16:11, Luke 10:42, Galatians 1:10
Faithfulness Bears Fruit
Consistency builds culture. Faithfulness over time, especially when no one else is watching. yields lasting impact in the kingdom.
Matthew 25:21, Luke 16:10, Galatians 6:9, 1 Corinthians 15:58
